Bryce Hurd

A portrait of Bryce Hurd with text and shapes projected onto their face.

My name is Bryce “Mango” Hurd and I’m from Port Huron, Michigan.

I’ve been passionate about art for my entire life, so of course after graduating High School the right choice for me would be Civil Engineering, right? Well, that’s what I was initially going to pursue, but upon receiving my Associate’s in General Education and Liberal Arts I decided to return for an Associate’s in Graphic Design, transferring from St. Clair County Community College to Central Michigan University for my Bachelor’s. I am passionate and proficient in creating digital illustrations, animating, graphic design, and above all, character design and concept art! Generally, creating digital illustrations is how I unwind, and I’m always studying new techniques in doing so.

I’ve been featured in 64th and 65th annual issues of the Patterns Art Magazine, receiving numerous accolades for my work as well as having my 2023 portfolio exhibited on the SC4 campus, and I am currently working on a trading card game as an exercise in template layout, character and creature design, and self-taught game development.
