Brittany Stevens

I’m Brittany Stevens, and the work I like to do focuses on branding and logo design, infographics, and editorial design. I have had a lot of experiences at CMU that have helped me and my work grow, from my studio art classes to the multiple design internships that I’ve had the privilege of working at. 

The first of which started when I worked at CMU’s University Communications, where I created mailers, event posters, and more using the university’s branding. Afterwards, I took a gap year, or in my case 9, to travel the world with my husband as a military spouse. It’s during this time that I learned and now live by the phrase,

“If you fail to prepare, then prepare to fail.”

With that phrase in mind, I meticulously research and then plan every phase of each project for my classes or for my work at Central Michigan Life as a graphic design team lead. I always have a backup plan... and then a backup plan for the backup (lol).
