Jaiden Cregger
My name is Jaiden, and no matter how much I change, my name is the one thing that stays the same. Meandering through the void (also known as Mount Pleasant, Michigan) for the past 21 years, I’ve used design as a direct link to my own expression for as long as I can remember.
In childhood, I started out the same as everyone: crayons, paper, and a dream. But soon, the paper gained staples and my crayons made houses, words, and magazine covers. My design grew as I grew with it. Crayons turned to comic strips, turned into memes, turned into hilariously awful Microsoft Paint files, turned into my first Photoshop project.
No matter what I make now, I always see a little piece of myself in it, frozen in time. Change defines what I do, taking bits from everything I’ve learned and creating my own style. From the child, to the artist, to the environmentalist, to the musician, to the designer I am today, always trying new things and changing along the way.
